Quick fixes for sound, timing, purchases, Game Center, and shared songs on iPhone and iPad.
Frequently asked questions
I can’t hear the piano
- Raise the device volume and make sure audio is not routed to headphones or another AirPlay device.
- Pause and resume the run after connecting or disconnecting Bluetooth audio.
- Close another app that is actively using audio, then reopen Piano Keyfall.
My taps look right but judge early or late
Finish a run and use the coaching card’s calibration suggestion, or open Settings and adjust the timing offset. A consistent LATE result means move the slider right; a consistent EARLY result means move it left. Bluetooth headphones add latency, so calibrate again when your audio route changes.
How do I restore Piano Keyfall Forever?
Open the unlock screen and choose Restore Purchase. Use the same Apple Account that bought the non-consumable. Purchases are processed by Apple; Piano Keyfall never sees your card information.
How do I open a shared song?
Tap a .pianopulse file in Files, Mail, or Messages and choose Piano Keyfall. The legacy extension stays unchanged so songs remain compatible. For a web link, open it in a modern browser and press Play; the song is decoded locally.
Why didn’t my score reach Game Center?
Game Center is optional and ranked scores require a standard 1.0× live run. Practice, challenge-tempo, and replay-watching sessions are intentionally unranked. Check Game Center sign-in and network access, then complete another standard run.
Where are my recordings and replays?
They are stored locally on your device. Piano Keyfall does not sync them to a developer server. Export important songs through the share sheet before deleting the app or moving devices.
Does Piano Keyfall record microphone audio?
No. Studio records note pitches, timing, duration, instrument settings, and the creator details you enter. The app does not request microphone access.
